IPTV troubleshooting checklist — in order
- Test your internet. Run speedtest.net. Below 10 Mbps = upgrade or use Ethernet.
- Restart the IPTV app. Force-close it (don't just minimize), reopen.
- Reboot router and modem. Unplug both for 30 seconds, replug modem first.
- Try a different channel. If only one channel fails, it's a source issue — message us.
- Switch player. In IPTV Smarters: Settings → Player Settings → External Player → VLC.
- Refresh EPG and channels. Settings → EPG → Force Update.
- Try another device. If phone works but TV doesn't, the issue is your TV's network — switch to Ethernet.
- WhatsApp us. +33 6 44 65 05 25 — average response time 3 minutes.
Specific error messages
| Error | Most likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "Invalid credentials" | Trailing space, expired sub | Re-paste; check expiry via WhatsApp |
| "Max connections reached" | Logged in on another device | Log out elsewhere or upgrade users |
| "Could not connect to server" | ISP block / DNS issue | Change DNS to 1.1.1.1 / 8.8.8.8 |
| Black screen, no error | Codec mismatch | Switch to External Player (VLC) |
| Audio out of sync | Player decode lag | VLC: Tools → Track Sync → adjust by -200ms |
If ISP is throttling IPTV traffic
Some US ISPs (Comcast, Spectrum) and EU ISPs throttle large video streams from non-CDN sources. Symptoms: works fine at 3 AM, buffers at 8 PM. Solution: use a quality VPN (Proton VPN, NordVPN) — adds 5–10ms latency but bypasses throttling. We recommend keeping the VPN exit node in the same country as your billing address to avoid geo-restrictions on local channels.
