What is the EPG?
The EPG (Electronic Program Guide) is the on-screen TV guide showing what's playing now, next, and over the coming 7 days on every channel. For World Cup 2026 it's essential — you need to know when Brazil vs Argentina kicks off in your timezone, on which channel, and in which language.
Setup in IPTV Smarters Pro
- Open IPTV Smarters → tap the gear icon (Settings).
- Choose EPG Settings.
- Paste the XMLTV URL from your IPTV4WorldCup WhatsApp credentials.
- Tap Update EPG. Wait 30–60 seconds.
- Go to Live TV → press the Info button on your remote → 7-day guide appears.
Setup in TiviMate (Firestick / Android TV)
- If you logged in with Xtream Codes, EPG is already loaded.
- To refresh: Settings → Playlists → select your playlist → EPG Settings → Update now.
- Set Auto Update Interval = 12 hours.
EPG with timezone correction
If match times look wrong, the EPG XML file is in UTC and your player isn't applying your timezone. Fix:
- IPTV Smarters: Settings → EPG → Timeshift = set your UTC offset (e.g. -5 for US Eastern).
- TiviMate: Settings → EPG → Time shift = your offset in hours.
World Cup-specific tip
IPTV4WorldCup provides a dedicated "World Cup 2026" EPG category — all 104 matches across all language broadcasters in one filtered view. Pin it to your home screen for one-tap access during the tournament.
